Whether caused by an accident or by aging parts, things can go wrong with your guitar. Repairs are sometimes necessary to restore your instrument's playability or regain its appearance.
Before beginning a repair procedure, I will ask to inspect the guitar in order to make an assessment of its condition and repair options. For the most thorough inspection, it's best to be able to see the instrument directly, though good-quality photographs can be used in a pinch.
The customer will then be presented with a summary of what must be done to repair / restore the instrument, as well as possible options when applicable. Once a course of action is agreed upon, I will proceed with the repair. You can be assured that your guitar will be treated with the utmost of care while I restore it.
This area of the site contains photos of repairs and restorations performed on various instruments. Before/after photos will be shown, and when possible, step-by-step documentation of more complex procedures.
